Mary Joyce Pry

Joyce Pry, 88, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 24, 2016.

Joyce was born on August 5, 1927 in Macon, Georgia to the late John and Mary Estelle Harvey. She lived the majority of her life in Warner Robins. Joyce was a devout Christian and was a member of the Church of Christ in Warner Robins. She was employed in accounting at Robins Air Force Base for over 40 years before her retirement. Joyce also enjoyed time spent cooking and working in her garden. However her greatest joy came from her beloved family especially her 3 grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Penny Pry and sister, Marcheta Crawford.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving children, Shannon Pry Comer (Allen) of Centerville; Ron Pry of Warner Robins; Bill Edwards (Randal) of Dallas, Texas; daughter-in-law, Ann Pry of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Alex Pry, Bill Edwards, III, Bobby Edwards (Lisa); sister, Wanda Bridges (Guy) of Jones County; brother-in-law, Lyn Crawford of Macon; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Visitation with Joyce's family will be Monday, March 28, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of McCullough. Immediately after the service, Joyce will be laid to rest in Riverside Cemetery.

Joyce's family would like to give the staff and administrators of The Lodge and Summer's Landing a heartfelt "thank you" for the exceptional love and compassion they showed her during her time with them.
