Mary Lee Farr

Mary Lee Farr, 77, entered into rest on Wednesday, February 20, 2013.

Mrs. Farr was born on August 12, 1935 in Bainbridge, Georgia. Mary Lee was retired from Robins Air Force Base where she worked as a Clerk in civil service. She was a wonderful wife, mother, and homemaker and was an avid reader. Her parents, Homer David Knight and Ollie Lois Sellers Knight, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of fifty four years, James Shedrick Farr, Bonaire; children, David Farr (Cheryl), Atlanta; Jim Farr (Kim), Bonaire; Christie Blackwell (Mike), Ellijay; sister, Jean Jarrett, New York; grandchildren, Kimberlee, Jimbo, and Max; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors Thursday evening, February 21, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at the Farr residence. Committal services will be held at a later date in Bonaire Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Houston County Library Foundation, % Nola Brantley Memorial Library, 721 Watson Blvd., Warner Robins, Georgia 31093.
