Mary Lee Patton Mcrae

Dr. Mary Lee Patton McRae was the age of 72 when she passed away on the morning of Friday, June 3, 2022, in Jesup, Georgia.

The daughter of Jessie Williams Patton and the late George Patton, Sr., Dr. McRae was born in Macon, Georgia, on November 14, 1949. Self-sustaining, Dr. McRae worked in the healthcare industry for several years as a Medical Doctor. She was of the Baptist faith and a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Centerville.

In addition to her father, Dr. McRae was preceded in death by her husband, Duncan McRae.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her mother, Jessie Williams Patton; brother, George Patton, Jr. of Macon, Georgia; and friends, Dale and Susan Meyer.

Visitation will be held on Monday, June 6, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Magnolia Park Cemetery with a graveside service immediately following at 10:30 a.m. Dale Meyer, Fred Remick, and Betty Waters will officiate.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Dr. Mary Lee McRae to the Human Society of Houston County, Inc at 810 Carl Vinson Parkway, Centerville, GA 31028.
