She enjoyed sewing and also had an appreciation of art and spent time painting and coloring. She attended Evergreen Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Heddy was preceded in death by one brother, James Burress.
Her memory will be forever cherished by her devoted daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Bill Hutcherson, of Warner Robins; loving son and daughter-in-law, Joe Jr. and Jill Heddy, of Pensacola, Florida; siblings, Rayburn Burress (Jane), Memphis, TN; Evelyn Buchanan (Bobby), Lake Okeechobee, FL; Helen George (Willie), Rienzi, MS; sister-in-law, Edna Burress, Sheffield, OH; as well as four beloved grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren, and many friends, all of whom will miss her sweet spirit.
