Mary Meinert Priest

Mary Meinert Priest, 91, entered into rest on Sunday, August 25, 2013.

Mary was born on September 29, 1921 in Tacoma, Washington. A resident of Warner Robins since 1960, she was a homemaker, but her most rewarding job was that of being a professional military wife. Mary enjoyed gardening and loved her cats dearly. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Stuart Priest; parents, George and Ethel Edris Meinert-Haggerty; and grandson, Rob.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her devoted children, Bob Priest (Pam) and Marsha Buzzell (Wayne), both of Perry; one grandchild, Stacy (Jeff); and three great-grandchildren. She also leaves a number of loving extended family and friends in Warner Robins.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, August 29, 2013 at All Saints' Episcopal Church, with the Reverend Scott Petersen officiating. A graveside Episcopal Committal Service will follow in Andersonville National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Parish Hall one hour prior to service.
