January 10, 1930 — February 28, 2025

Warner Robins

Maudie Jane Boynton Grisham, 95, entered into rest on Friday, February 28, 2025.

Maudie was born on January 10, 1930, in Lawrenceburg, Tennessee to the late Andrew Delbert Boynton and Rena Davidson Boynton. She loved to travel with her husband, Andy. She was the heart of our family, and a source of boundless love, wisdom, and warmth. Maudie touched the lives of everyone who knew her. She devoted her life to her family, offering unwavering support and unconditional love. Her home was always filled with laughter, delicious home-cooked meals, and open arms for anyone in need.

In addition to her parents, Maudie was preceded in death by her sister, Helen Ayers, and son-in-law, David Patrick Barber, Sr.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband of 78 years, Dr. Andrew “Andy” J. Grisham; daughters, Lynn Barber, Andrea Rountree (Lee), and Sally Ziegler; grandchildren, Lori Carver (Jonathan), Heather Wilkes (Mike), Patrick Barber (Erin), Dr. Justin Rountree (Cristina), Andy Stricklen (Kat), Adam Stricklen, and Sarah Mathis (Andrew); and great-grandchildren, Matthew, Gracie, Ellie, Max, Mary Elizabeth, Grayson, Savanna, Olan, Chanlee, and Evelyn, along with many other loving family members and friends who will cherish her memory and carry on her legacy of love and kindness. Though our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that she is at peace and watching over us.

She will be in our hearts forever. Her love will guide us, and her memory will be cherished always.

A special thanks to Maudie’s caregivers, Ellen Carter and Lethia Jones, for their loving care for her over the last few years.
