Megan Leigh Chandras, age 13, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, September 22, 2004. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 on Saturday, September 25, in the First Baptist Church of Kathleen. She will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6 until 9 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.
Megan was born August 15, 1991in Perry, Georgia. She was a 7th grade student at Bert Rumble Middle School and a member of her school’s marching band. Megan was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church of Kathleen. She was active in her Sunday School class and the Faith Walkers Youth Group. She had a ministry of loving people and making them smile. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Kathleen Dunkerton.
Survivors include her father, Harry Charles Dunkerton, Gulf Port, MS; mother, Tara Chandras, Kathleen; step-father, John W. Wilkerson, Kathleen; sister, Victoria Chandras, Kathleen; brother, Richard Dylan Chandras, Kathleen; grandparents, Harry D. and Michele Dunkerton, Bonaire, Dr. Kan V. Chandras, Warner Robins, Janet S. Watson, Kathleen; uncles, Sunil Chandras, Bonaire, Robert Thomas Bowen, Bonaire, Kiran Chandras, Warner Robins; and other numerous aunts and uncles.
