Melissa Lynn Williams, born on August 16, 1962, in Albany, Georgia, passed away on September 25, 2024, in Warner Robins, Georgia. She was 62 years old.
Melissa grew up in Albany, where she attended Dougherty County Comprehensive High School, graduating with a passion for creativity. Following her high school years, she attended Albany Area Vocational Technical College, specializing in graphic design.
Her career brought her to Sherwood Baptist Church, where she served as the multimedia specialist. Melissa's work not only showcased her artistic talents but also enriched the lives of many in her community.
A lover of the beach, Melissa found joy in surfing, and embracing the sun and waves. She also had a keen interest in classic automobiles and was an avid collector of vinyl records, treasures that spoke to her love for nostalgia and timeless beauty.
Melissa is remembered for her vibrant spirit, creativity, and unwavering kindness. She leaves behind a legacy of love and inspiration to all who knew her.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her son, Nate Williams; parents, Joseph and Bobbie Mauldin; aunt, Judy Cooper; and other extended loving family.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 5th, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. The Family will receive friends an hour prior to the ceremony.
