Melody Jo Hill

Melody Jo Hill, 67, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 6, 2024. 

Melody was born on June 6, 1956, in Fort Valley, Georgia. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother or “Gammy”, Melody dedicated her life to raising her children and grandchildren. Family made her happier than anything else on earth and was everything she lived for. When her grandchildren were younger, they had fond memories of visiting her at the beauty shop every Saturday. She enjoyed cooking big holiday meals for her dear friends and loved ones and was often described as caring, funny, and sweet. Melody took comfort in death, knowing she would be with her dear mother again. In her free time, she loved doting on her animals and watching cooking shows. She will be deeply missed by those she loved. 

Her parents, Joe Presley and Shelva Jean Young, preceded her in death. 

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband of almost 50 years, Randy Hill; children, Brian Hill and Julie Overmire (Christopher); grandchildren, Timberlan, Hunter, Abby, Christopher, Carlie and Casen; great-granddaughter, Maycin; brother, Rick Presley (Christine); stepsiblings, Tamea Young, Sara Lynn Jackson, and Bubba Young; nephew, Chris Presley and step-niece, Laura Matthews, along with many other loving family members and friends. 

Visitation will be Thursday, February 8, 2024, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home.  A funeral service will immediately follow at 3:00 p.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.
