Melody Lynn Wilder

Melody Lynn Wilder, 63, of Warner Robins died Sunday, August 11, 2024. She lost her eight month battle with cancer.

Mrs. Wilder was a resident of Central Georgia since 1996, moving here from Cartersville.

Melody was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her passion was reading and watching classic movies from the 1930s to present. 

Survivors include her husband of 45 years, Ronny Wilder of Warner Robins; daughters, Sunshine (Christopher) Moncrief of Macon, and Haley Noel (Joshua) Williamson of Centerville; sisters, Ramona (Brad) Jackson of Pensacola, FL, and Tammy (Tom) Graves of Marion, IN; brothers, Donnie (Cathy) Losure of Gas City, IN, and Chris (Susan) Losure of Greentown, IN; grandchildren, Bryce Smallwood of Oklahoma City, OK, Faith (Shaun) McKelvey of Warner Robins, Preston (Anna Kate) McKelvey of Macon, and Violet Ray Williamson of Centerville; great-granddaughter, Lakelynn McKelvey of CA.

Melody was preceded in death by her sisters, Sharon Hatton of Jacksonville, FL, Sheila Clark of Anaheim, CA, Sandra Palmer of Gas City, IN, Linda Wilkerson of Pensacola, FL, and brothers, Lenny Largen of Pensacola, FL, Dale Losure of Pensacola, FL.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Melody Wilder to The American Cancer Society: Atlanta Hope Lodge at 1552 Shoup Court, Decatur, GA 30033.

Visitation will be Friday, August 16, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Melody will be laid to rest in Andersonville National Cemetery.
