Merry Ruth Clark Woods, age 75, of Byron, Ga, passed away peacefully at Pine Pointe Hospice, on Sunday, August 11, 2024.

Born on April 14, 1949, in Winder, Georgia, Merry was the beloved daughter of the late Bernice Lee and Bertie Lou Clark. She graduated from Tucker High School. Merry retired from Atlanta Precision Molding as a Production Manager. 

In her retirement, Merry briefly took up golf and discovered a love for stained glass window making. Her adventurous spirit led her to travel extensively, visiting every corner of the United States and 11 countries around the world.

 Time spent with her family was her greatest joy. Merry will be dearly missed by all who were blessed enough to know and love her.

In addition to her parents, Merry was preceded in death by her brothers William Clark and Wade Clark, sister Dianne Allison, grandson Mark Elder; and step-great-grandson Grayson Wesley Kline; and former husbands, Wallace Miller and Ken Bean.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her husband of 11 years, Ronnie Norman Woods; her children Michelle Gliatta (Dan) of Williamston, S.C., Greg Miller of Sandersville, Angela Farino (Jacob) of Covington; stepchildren, Amy Roberts of Byron and Angela Sapp of Hawkinsville; her grandchildren, Ashton Cely (William), Amanda D’Alonzo, Casey D’Alonzo (Taylor), Dante Gliatta, Rhiannon Matthews (Brad), Reyann Clark (Ray Martin Clark IV), Levi Miller, Abriella Farino, and Lilliquin Farino; step-grandchildren, Jeremy Kline, Jacob Kline (Hope), and Jonathan Kline (Jamie); her great-grandchildren, Tucker Cely, Townes Cely, Jay Elder, Mason Matthews, Lillyan Matthews, Allyson Matthews, Micah Murdock, Mitchell Murdock, and Remington Clark; step-great-grandchildren, Nora James Kline, Lakelyn Kline, and Beckham Kline; her sisters, Margaret Williams of Earlsboro, Oklahoma, Evelyn Sturdivant of Acworth, Georgia and Marsha Webb of San Antonio, Texas; as well as several nieces, nephews and other beloved extended family members. 

A celebration of life service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 17, 2024, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, 417 S. Houston Lake Rd., Warner Robins, Ga. with Mr. Jacob Kline and Pastor Michael Sanders officiating. After the service, at 12:00 p.m., a reception will be taking place at The Farmhouse, located directly behind McCullough Funeral Home.

Merry Ruth Clark Woods will be laid to rest privately. For friends unable to attend at this time, the service will be streamed live at https://youtube.com/live/b7qjmjtRPvs?feature=share via the McCullough Funeral Home’s YouTube page.

Merry was also a courageous breast cancer survivor. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given in memory of Merry Ruth Clark Woods to American Breast Cancer Foundation, 10440 Little Patuxent Parkway, Suite 300, Columbia, MD 21044.
