Michael Chickini, 60, entered into rest on September 26, 2010.
Mr. Chickini was born on May 16, 1950, in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. He proudly served his country in the U. S. Army, attained the rank of Captain, and served at Fort Benning where he was project officer for Airborne Equipment and Delivery. He was also a senior parachutist. Mike graduated from Mercer University with a Masters Degree in History. He worked at Procter and Gamble as Regional Sales Manager until his retirement after thirty years of loyal service. He was a member of the Warner Robins Rotary Club and was recognized as a Paul Harris Fellow and a Will Watt Fellow. Mike was a faithful member of Central Baptist Church. His parents, Command Sergeant Major Joseph Chickini and Doris Bailey Chickini, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever live in the hearts of his wife of thirty-five years, Pamela Chickini, Warner Robins; daughter and son-in-law, Kelly Chickini Fierro and Peter F. Fierro, Atlanta; sister, Yolanda Day, Albuquerque, New Mexico; nephew, Sean Day, Charleston, South Carolina; mother-in-law and step-father-in-law, Patsy B. McGee and Glenn McGee, Perry; father-in-law and step-mother-in-law, Doyle D. Stokes and Sara Stokes, Bonaire; step-sister-in-law and husband, Janie and Marlan Nichols, Kathleen, their children and spouses, Brandon and Kristen Nichols, Leslie Nichols, and Alex Nichols; sister-in-law and husband, Laura and Denny Cole, Starkville, Mississippi, their children, Emily and Drew; brother-in-law and wife, Patrick and Lisa Stokes, and their children, Lacey (Joey) Hinson, Taylor Stokes and Hayley Stokes, all of Warner Robins.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 28, 2010, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 29, 2010, at Central Baptist Church, the Reverends Sidney Odom and Brandon Nichols officiating. Entombment will follow in Magnolia Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Central Baptist Church Building Fund, 1120 Lake Joy Road, Warner Robins GA 31088.
