Michael Kanaly, 81, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2016.
Michael was born on January 12, 1935 in Brooklyn, New York. He proudly served in the United States Navy during the Korean War. Michael worked at Boeing for 15 years before retiring.
His parents, John and Lillian Kanaly, and two siblings, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 34 years, Jessie Joe Ann Kanaly of Byron; children, Mildred Ann Hunt of Perry; Margaret Louise Young of Corpus Christie, Texas; Michelle Jean Young (Allen) of Warner Robins; Michael Joseph Kanaly (Lee Ann) of Memphis, Tennessee; Teresa Ann Long of Denver, Colorado; Raymond Coomer (Wanda) of Warner Robins; Buster C. Perkins of Denver, Colorado; 11 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and 3 siblings.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 29, 2016 at McCullough Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Michael Kanaly to Houston Medical Center Auxiliary, 1601 Watson Blvd., Warner Robins, Ga. 31093.
