Michael Jerome Koloski

Michael Koloski, 63, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, June 18, 2020. At the time of his passing, Mike was living in Eatonton, Georgia.

Mike was born on March 23, 1957 in Orlando, Florida, to the late Richard J. Koloski and Shirley Mansell Howard. Mike served honorably in the United States Air Force from 1977 until 1981. During Mike’s youth, he was an exceptionally gifted athlete who excelled in every sport he played. He was particularly good on the football and baseball fields. In high school, he was a running back at Warner Robins High School and earned the nickname “chickenhawk” because of his tenacity and speed. In baseball, he was a power hitter and led his team in homeruns. Mike was an avid sports fan and followed the Braves and Nascar throughout his life enjoying many races and games in person. He was preceded in death by his loving parents; his stepfather, Charles R. Howard; and his brother, Ronald G. Koloski.

Mikes memory will forever be treasured by his surviving sister, Sherry Koloski of Warner Robins; brother, Richard A. Koloski (Maria-Lorena) of Destin, Florida; nieces and nephews, Shannon Clark (Billy) of Rentz, Tina Hulett of Warner Robins, Matthew Puryear of Hope Mills, New Jersey, Justin Koloski of Fort Walton Beach, Florida, and Venessa and Veronica Koloski, both of Machias, Maine.

A private family inurnment will take place with military honors at Magnolia Park Cemetery in Warner Robins. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Michael Koloski to the ASPCA at https://secure.aspca.org/donate/ps-honor-sl-p1. Mike adored his beloved Bit Bit and BB, both Chihuahuas and Mike’s pride and joy over the past ten years.
