Michael ''Mickey'' Smith

Michael "Mickey" Smith, 65, entered into rest on Saturday, June 25, 2011.

Mickey was born on December 28, 1945 in Dublin, Georgia. He served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam Era and retired from Robins Air Force Base. He was a master carpenter and an avid fisherman. His wife, Cindy Smith; son, Eric Marney; daughter, Pam Smith; first wife, Margie Smith; and parents, Oscar and Nell Smith, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his son, Joseph "Scott" Marney, Baltimore, Maryland; daughter, Michelle Ann (Wesley) Tabor, Warner Robins; grandchildren, Jayce, Kaylyn, and Brianna; and siblings, Alice (Harry) Hardison, Johnny (Sandy) Smith, and Tommy Smith, all of Byron.

Visitation will be Monday, June 27, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 28, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Magnolia Park Cemetery. The family will accept flowers, or memorial donations may be given to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, P.O. Box 810
