Michael "Mike" Eugene Hobbs

Mike Hobbs passed away at home unexpectedly on Sunday, February 21, 2021, at the age of 57. He was a 1982 graduate of Northside High School and was the area manager for Poole Marketing. Mike was an avid Northside Eagles fan and enjoyed participating on the media team for Northside’s Booster Club. In addition, he had a passion for his old cars and going on the Hot Rod Power Tour each year.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, George and Lorene Hobbs; and his uncle, Eddie Hobbs.

Mike is survived by his loving mother, Betty Hobbs; aunts, Peggy Meadows (Johnny) and Ruth North (Larry); girlfriend, Lisa Kirkland; and many cousins and lifelong friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, February 24, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 25, 2021, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Pastor Marty Watson officiating. Mike will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery following the service.
