Mickey Veale, 58, entered into rest on Saturday, September 10, 2011.
Mickey was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas, on November 28, 1952. He moved to Georgia in the mid-80s with his wife and two boys, and worked as a Service Technician at Keadle Heating and Air. Mickey lived a proud and honest life. He was a strong family man with high values and character, and a man that could be called on by anyone for anything at any time. A loving husband, father and grandpa, his family was his heart and soul. His parents, W.V. Veale and Cordie Dodd Veale, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Barbara Kay Mower Veale; sons, Brian Scott, Dublin, and Branndon Veale (Cassie Wilson), Perry; sisters, Lenoria Sands, Sulphur, Oklahoma, and Connie Parker, Amarillo; and grandsons, Zane and Peyton.
Visitation will be Wednesday, September 14, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 15, 2011 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home, Reverend Bruce Brookshire officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
