Mildred Doreen Stallworth

Mildred "Millie" Doreen Strickland Stallworth, 77, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, January 28, 2012.

Mrs. Stallworth, born July 2, 1934, in Loris, South Carolina, had lived in middle Georgia since 1966. She was a retired general manager of Days Inn, and a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Centerville and the Senior Ladies Sunday School Class. Her husband of forty-three years, Augustus Eugene Stallworth, Sr.; and parents, Major Dalton Strickland, Sr., and Grace Almire Prince Strickland, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Terry Lee (Susie), Gresham, South Carolina, Connie Tonsor (Bill), Conway, South Carolina, and Dale Lee, Byron; sister, Jewel Lewis, Hopkins, South Carolina; step-children, A. E. "Gus" Stallworth, Jr., Byron, Charles H. Stallworth, Deloris Durden, and Donna Ethridge; grandchildren, Terri Sue Harrelson, Sherry Lynn Gerrald, Belinda Williamson, Cody Landers, Kristie Wilson, Miranda Rowland, Jessica Lee, Jana Lee, and Victor Tonsor; and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, January 30, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 31, 2012, at First Baptist Church of Centerville, Dr. Allen Hughes officiating. Interment will follow in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens. Flowers will be accepted or memorial donations may be made to First Baptist Church of Centerville, 108 Church Street, Centerville GA 31028.
