Mildred Harned

Mildred Harned, 92, passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2015.

Mildred was born on April 8, 1922 in White Mills, Kentucky but lived the majority of her life in beautiful Elizabethtown. After school, she met and married the late Willie Harned. Mildred was a devoted housewife, mother, and grandmother who dedicated to raising her three children. She was a longtime member of First Christian Church of Elizabethtown, Kentucky. Mildred moved to Warner Robins to live with her daughter in 2011.

Her loving husband of 52 years, Willie Harned; parents, Harim and Amy Jeffers Fields; and siblings, Louie Fields and Thelma Leasor, preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Donna Caswell (Rick) of Warner Robins, Phyllis Evans (Bobby) and Jerry Harned (Libby) all of Elizabethtown; eight grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and brother, David Fields of Celia, Kentucky.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 27, 2015 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 28, 2015 in the chapel of Brown Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
