Mildred L. Hixon

Mildred L. Hixon, 88, died Monday, November 05, at Peachbelt Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Services will be held at 2:00pm on Wednesday, November 7 in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in the Macon Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 7:00 until 9:00pm at McCullough Funeral Home.
Born in Cartersville, GA, Mrs. Hixon was retired from Mercer University where she was a secretary. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Warner Robins and attended the Advanced Bible Study Class. Additionally, she was a member of the Women’s Missionary Union.
She was predeceased by her husband, Rayford H. Hixon, Sr., and her parents, Harleston and Bessie Lewis.
She is survived by her son, Ray Hixon, Jr. of Clearwater Beach, FL; sister, Ernestine Barry of Warner Robins; brother, Max Fussell of Palatka, FL; sister, Nellie Cagle McDuffie of Macon; and a grandson, Ray Hixon III of Clearwater Beach, FL.
