Milton Lutz, lovingly known as “Bobby”, 80, passed away on Friday, October 27, 2006 after an extended illness. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 on Monday, October 30, 2006, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with interment following in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Lutz was born on February 21, 1926 in Marietta, Georgia. He proudly served as a member of the United States Air Force and the United States Navy, retiring in 1968. He was a veteran of WWII, the Korean Conflict, and the Vietnam Era. After retirement from the Armed Forces, he was a security guard at Midland Glass and Continental Can Company. He was of the Baptist faith. His parents, Alfred McMillan and Gertrude Lutz, two sisters and four brothers, all preceded him in death.
He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie Lutz, with whom he recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary. He is also survived by his three daughters, Rita S. Chandler, Warner Robins; Cheryl Dees, Warner Robins; and Kathy (David) Johnson, Clinton, MS; five sisters, Frances Ewing, Rebecca McCollum, Myrtle McCoy, all of Marietta; Mildred Poore, Kennesaw; Velma Pardon, Lakeland, FL; grandchildren, Jeff (Kim) Chandler, Sherry (Darrin) Chancellor, Hannah and Rebecca Johnson and Chandra Dees, great grandchildren, Jordon, Lindsay and Hillary Chandler, Dustin and Dylan Chancellor.
