Mr. Milton Larkin Rackley, Jr., passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2003 at his residence. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 18 at Magnolia Park Cemetery. The Reverend Ford Wilson will officiate. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 until 8:00 pm at McCullough Funeral Home.

Mr. Rackley was born in Fort Valley and was retired from Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base. He was a veteran of World War II and Korea, having served in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans, the VFW Post 6605, the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge 1688, the Masonic Grand Lodge Tyrian, and AARP. Mr. Rackley was also an avid outdoorsman, enjoying both hunting and fishing. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Bonaire. His parents, Milton L Rackley, Sr., and Rosa Rackley, preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Willie Benton-Rackley, Warner Robins; daughters, Carolyn Sokol, Centerville; Millie Rackley, Warner Robins; son, Randy Rackley, Warner Robins; daughter, Vicki Buckwalter, Philadelphia, PA; stepdaughters, Mrs. Bruce Benton, Warner Robins; Anita Benton, Charlotte, NC; Chiquita Chanclor, Brunswick, GA; stepsons, Philip Benton, Washington State; Rex Benton, Charlotte, NC; brothers, Wayne Rackley and John Rackley, both of Kathleen; sisters, Louise Bennett, Ocilla, GA; Mildred Howard, Savannah; Rose Ellis, Warner Robins; eleven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
