Mitchell Louis Rubenstein

January 18, 1949 — October 6, 2024

Warner Robins

Mitchell “Mitch” Louis Rubenstein, 75, entered into rest on Sunday, October 6, 2024.

Mitch was born on January 18, 1949, in Waterbury, Connecticut. Mitch, the Ol’ Redhead, was a man of so many interests. He loved sports (especially baseball and football), movies, music, reading, collecting (movies, music, books), traveling, humor (especially his own plays on words and usually corny jokes), tradition, Jack Daniel’s, holidays, and family. He was a charmer, making and keeping friends wherever he went.

Because of his father’s military career, Mitch lived in several places while growing up. As an adult, he traveled extensively through the United States, seeking and photographing military and other historical sites. He chose to spend his last years in Warner Robins, Georgia, to be with his family here and watch his beloved Max and Maggie grow up. However, the city dearest to his heart was N’Orleans, which is where he will finally rest.

We all miss him so, yet we think his spirit is still with us right now, as usual, keeping count of the responses on social media and beaming that mischievous smile.

Mitchell was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob Rubenstein and Muriel Sandiller Rubenstein, along with his sister, Louise Rose.

His memory will forever be treasured by his son, David Coble (Jodi); grandchildren, Maxwell and Maggie Coble; sister, Elaine Seltzer (Cliff), along with niece and nephews, Avi Rose, Meredith Seltzer, and Scott Seltzer.

At the family’s request, all services will be private.
