Msgt Carnell Poston, Usaf (Ret)

Carnell Poston, 77, entered into rest on Thursday, February 16, 2012.

Mr. Poston was born on March 10, 1934 in Pamplico, South Carolina. He was a member of Centerville United Methodist Church. MSgt Poston proudly served his country in the United States Air Force for twenty three years. Subsequent to his military retirement he worked for State Wholesale Foods Company for many years. His parents, Olie and Pearlie Taylor Poston, preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved wife of fifty nine years, Fay D. Poston, Warner Robins; children, Rick Poston (Janice), Michelle Tanner (Frank), Dennis Poston, Mark Poston (Angie); fifteen grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; three brothers, three sisters; and a host of extended family and friends.

The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, at Centerville United Methodist Church. Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Centerville United Methodist Church with Reverends Stephen Grantham and Eugene Barlow officiating. Interment will be private.
