MSgt. Edward Lee Warwick, USAF (Ret.), 63, passed away on the morning of Wednesday, January 1, 2025.

Born in Roswell, New Mexico, Edward was the son of Judith Karen Saunders Warwick and the late Billy Joe Edgar. Edward's life was defined by his unwavering dedication to his country and his family. He proudly served in the United States Air Force for 25 years, earning the rank of Master Sergeant before his retirement. After his military service, Edward continued to serve in civil service at Robins Air Force Base for 18 years.

Outside of his professional life, Edward had a range of passions. He enjoyed woodworking, spending time camping, and tending to his yardwork. A true enthusiast of NASCAR, he spent countless hours cheering on his favorite drivers. Edward also had a deep appreciation for firearms, frequently visiting the gun range. He was an ardent supporter of the Ohio State Buckeyes and had a love for music, especially rock.

His memory will forever be treasured by his wife of 44 years, Sherri Lynn Carter Warwick of Byron; children, Eric Warwick (Denise) of Warner Robins, and Heather Irby (William) of Kathleen; grandchildren, Ethan Warwick, Parker Irby, and Jaxson Irby; mother, Judith Karen Saunders Warwick of Norman, Oklahoma; siblings, Diane Legron, Laurie Smith, Jonathan Warwick, Jeffrey Warwick, Jennifer DiCuccio, and Melissa Thomas; as well as several other beloved extended family members and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, January 11, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2025, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, MSgt. Edward Lee Warwick, USAF (Ret.) will be laid to rest in Parkway Memorial Gardens.

The family will accept flowers or donations may be given in memory of MSgt. Edward Lee Warwick, USAF (Ret.) to Disabled Veterans National Foundation, 4601 Forbes Blvd., Ste. 130, Latham, MD 20706.
