Enoch Bennett, 73, entered into rest on Saturday, April 27, 2013.
Mr. Bennett was born on May 14, 1939 in Tallahassee, Florida. With pride, courage and commitment, he served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring at McClellan Air Force Base, after twenty four years and seven months, and earning the rank of Master Sergeant. Subsequent to his distinguished military career, he also retired from the University of Davis - California in 1982. His parents, Cornelius and Annie Caulwell Bennett, preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved wife, Mary Bennett, Centerville; son, Lemonta Bennett; daughters and sons in law, Reverend Elisa Watson (Gary), Yolanda Thomas (Rickie); brothers, Mac Bennett (Louise), George Bennett, Rupert Bennett; sister, Dorothy Mac; grandchildren, Gerren and Jasmine Watson; many nieces and nephews, and family pet whom he adored, Kobi.
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 3, 2013 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. The family will greet visitors one hour prior to the service at McCullough Funeral Home Warner Robins. Interment with full military honors will follow the service in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Milledgeville.
