MSgt. Gregory Snell, USAF (Ret.) entered into rest on the morning of Monday, December 6, 2021. He was 63 years old.
Gregory was born on June 28, 1958, in Dothan, Alabama. As a young man, he enlisted in the United States Air Force where he selflessly served his country for 21-years. He completed basic training in 1982, and went onto attend NCO leadership school in May of 1988. After his military education, Gregory worked as a Formal Training Instructor and was an Airborne Surveillance Radar Systems Craftsman for over 20-years. He earned many medals and awards before retiring from the USAF with the rank of Master Sergeant. After his military career, Gregory continued to serve his country for an additional 16-years at Northrop Grumman as a Radar Technician.
Gregory was preceded in death by his mother and father; and son, Shad Hendricks Jr.
His memory will forever be treasured by his adoring wife of 14 years, Lillie Jeanette Collins Snell of Warner Robins; children, Gregory Alex Snell (Shayna) of Sebring, Florida, Courtney Snell of Warner Robins, and Sheree Lewis (Orlando) of Dacula; and 10 grandchildren.
