Msgt. Herbert C. Jackson, Jr. Usaf (Ret)

Herbert C. (Jack) Jackson, Jr. 89, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2005 at Medical Center of Central Georgia. Graveside service will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, June 13, 2005 in Magnolia Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday, June 12, 2005 from 6 until 8 PM at McCullough Funeral Home. The family suggests donations be made to American Legion Post 594, 1523 Moody Road Warner Robins, Georgia 31088 or Disabled American Veterans Association, P.O Box 14301 Cincinnati, Ohio 45250.

Mr. Jackson was born in Clover, South Carolina. He retired after serving 30 years as a Master Sergeant in the United States Air Force. He was a veteran of the Korean War, World War II, and Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion Post 594, 1523 Moody Road and the Disabled American Veterans Association. His parents, Herbert and Harriet Jackson, preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley K. Jackson, Warner Robins; son, Philip Jackson (Natalia), Texas; Herbert C. Jackson III, Milledgeville; daughter, Leah Bauer, Gilbertsville, Kentucky; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
