A wonderful husband, father, and friend, B.T. Keefer, passed away on Thursday, January 7, 2021. He was 59 years old.
Born on December 3, 1961, in England, B.T. was the son of the late James and Carole Lee Keefer. Following his father’s example, B.T. proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring with the rank of Master Sergeant. After his retirement from the military, B.T. worked for Alion in Warner Robins as a Consultant. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and though he could not cook, B.T. enjoyed grilling out. Most of all, he was a great listener who loved spending time with his family and friends. He was always there for his wife and children and had the same best friend for over 30 years. Those he knew and loved will sorely miss him.
B.T.’s memory will forever be treasured by his wife of 33 years, Lilly Keefer; children, Carla Keefer McNeil (Robert) of Warner Robins and Jessica Rearte of Atlanta; granddaughter, Skye Lilly McNeil; sister, Jody Tiedemen (Curt) of Maple Valley, Washington; Jackie Sawyer (Jeff) of Kimberly, Idaho; and stepmother, Jody Keefer of Seattle, Washington.
A memorial gathering will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 14, 2021, at McCullough Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of MSgt. Jacque Andre Keefer “B.T.”, USAF (Ret.) to the GA Wildlife Conservation Fund c/o Wildlife Conservation Section, 2067 U.S. Hwy 278 SE, Social Circle, GA 30025.
