Msgt. James H. Madruga, Usaf (Ret.)

MSgt. James H. Madruga, USAF (Ret.), 42, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, October 28, 2003 in his home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, October 31, at Calvary Chapel Heartland in Ft. Valley. Interment wil follow in Parkway Memorial Gardens in Warner Robins. Visitation will be Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at McCullough Funeral Home.

Born in San Diego, California, James was retired from service in the United States Air Force, having served during the Gulf War. He attended Calvary Chapel Heartland. James so loved God, his family, and his country. In that order. He gave his love and trust to Christ, dedicated his life to his family, and gave his life for his country.

“As for me, my life has already been poured out as an offering to God. The time of my death is near. I have fought a good fight, I have finished the race, and I have remained faithful. And now the prize awaits me--the crown of righteousness that the Lord, the righteous Judge, will give me on that great day of his return. And the prize is not just for me but for all who eagerly look forward to his glorious return.” 2 Timothy 4:6-8

Survivors include his wife, Karen Madruga, Warner Robins; parents, Jerry and Shirley Madruga, Hanford, CA; daughter, Jamie Madruga and son, Austin Madruga, both of Warner Robins; mother and father-in-law, Vic and Helen Westmoreland, Valparaiso, FL; sister, Sheila Madruga, Kingston, TN; brothers, Jerry Madruga and Kyle Madruga, both of Hanford, CA; and six nieces and nephews.
