Msgt. Jean Elizabeth Cole, Usaf (Ret.)

Jean E. Cole, 63, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on the evening of Friday, September 23, 2016.

Jean was born in New York City, New York to the late Donald Oswald and Elizabeth Barbara Thompson. A 22-year veteran of the United States Air Force, she proudly served her country until her retirement in 1997 and earned a Bachelor's Degree from Fort Valley State University. Ms. Cole called All Saints Episcopal her church home.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving son, Quinton Xavier Thompson of Grovetown; and her grandchildren, Quinn Marquis and Lydiana Marie Thompson.

A memorial service to celebrate Jean's life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 7, 2016 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Scott Petersen will officiate. Ms. Cole will be laid to rest with Full Military Honors following the service at 1:00 p.m. in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
