Msgt Jerry Lane Walker, Usaf (Ret)

Jerry Lane Walker, 77, entered into rest on Saturday, June 18, 2011.

Mr. Walker was born on November 24, 1933 in Louisiana. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force, retiring after obtaining the rank of MSgt. Post retirement he worked for nineteen years as a civil servant at Robins Air Force Base. A community servant, he was a Master Mason with Lodge number 133 in Jeffersonville; a member of the Scottish Rites; Houston County Shrine Center; and the Al-Sihah Shrine Center in Macon. His parents preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his children, Jerry Lane Walker, Jr.; Cathy Walker; both of California; Donald Walker, Warner Robins; Elizabeth Walker Wallis, also of California; one sister, Ginger; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Shelia Stewart; niece, Sarita Walker Horne; nephews, Michael Walker and Bobby Yelverton.

Visitation will be Monday, June 20, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 21, 2011 in Parkway Memorial Gardens, with full military honors.
