MSgt. Joseph Baumann, USAF (Ret.), 74, passed away at his residence on Tuesday, December 31, 2024.
Joseph was born in Pennsylvania, to the late Francis A. and Rita Manning Baumann. He was a proud veteran, serving in the United States Air Force for many years, where he worked in Logistics and earned the rank of Master Sergeant. His military career reflected his deep sense of patriotism and dedication to his country. A passionate aviation enthusiast, Joseph traveled the world planespotting.
Outside of his career, Joseph had a great passion for photography, often capturing moments from his travels and life. He also loved music, especially the classics.
Joseph’s faith was an integral part of his life. He was a longtime member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and an altar boy in his youth.
In addition to his parents, Joseph was preceded in death by his brother, John Baumann.
His memory will forever be treasured by his brother, James Baumann (Jill Becker) of Homestead, Florida; niece, Kali Teresa Parrish (Clint) of Pembroke Lakes, Florida; and grand-niece, Paisley Jean Parrish.
A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, in the at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. MSgt. Joseph Baumann, USAF (Ret.) will be laid to rest on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. in Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery with military honors.
