MSgt Joseph Michael Stewart, 67, entered into rest on June 19, 2010.

Mr. Stewart was born in Aberdeen, Washington on October 8, 1942. A veteran of the United States Air Force, MSgt Stewart served in the Vietnam conflict. He then retired from the Department of State where he worked in the administrative department.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of 46 years, Digna Stewart, Warner Robins; sons, Frank R. Stewart and wife Deborah, Leesburg; Joseph M. Stewart, Jr. and wife Barbara, Warner Robins; daughter, Lillian E. Stewart and husband Dave, Fallston, MD; sisters, Susan Osborne, Pahrump, NV; Candace Gravelle, Albany, OR; mother-in-law, Trinidad Ramirez; grandchildren, Brittini M. McNally and husband Michael, Brandon T. Stewart, Rachel H. Stewart, Joseph M. Stewart, III, and Samantha L. Stewart.

A rosary service will be held on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Monsignor Fred Nijem will officiate funeral services on Wednesday, June 23, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with interment following in Andersonville National Cemetery. Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be given to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 250 South Davis Drive, Warner Robins, 31093.
