Ken Bean, 69, entered into rest on Saturday, June 20, 2020.
Ken was born on November 15, 1950 in Yelm, Washington to the late Wilbur and Joyce Stevenson Bean. With honor, he served his country in the United States Air Force, which allowed him to travel all over the world. A workaholic, Ken enjoyed his military career and his various jobs working with his hands, doing yard work and building repairs. A man that never met a stranger, Ken was friends with many. He enjoyed having his grandchildren over to swim in the pool and enjoy his avid train collection with him.
His parents preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife of thirty-nine years, Sonja Crook Bean; children, Michael Greathouse (Gamble) of Centerville, Connie Morgan (Scott) of Warner Robins and Sherry Keen (Marc) of Lawrenceville, Georgia; sister, Barbara Lawrence of Yelm, Washington; ten grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
At the family’s request services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Kenneth “Ken” L. Bean to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital at 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, Tennessee 38105.
McCullough Funeral Home and Crematory has the privilege of being entrusted with these arrangements.
