Milford Norman Barrington, 82, entered into rest on Wednesday, May 19, 2010.
Mr. Barrington was born on January 3, 1928 in Valrico, FL. He was a charter member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Warner Robins. MSgt Barrington retired from the United States Air Force, serving during the Vietnam Era, Korean Conflict, and WWII. Subsequently, he retired from civil service at Robins Air Force Base where he was employed as an Electrical Engineer. A timeless community servant, he was a member of the Non Commissioned Officer's Club and the AARP. His parents, Willie E. Barrington and Vivian McNair Barrington, and his son, Roy Barrington, all preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving and devoted wife, Carolyn McCarty Barrington, Warner Robins; son and daughter in law, C. Wayne Barrington and Rose, Chattanooga, TN; grandchildren, Carl Joseph Barrington and Sabrina Kay Davis; four great grandchildren; brother and sister in law, Reverend Roland Barrington and Arlene, St. Petersburg, FL; and so many other loving relatives and friends. .
Visitation will be Saturday, May 22, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Sunday, May 23, 2010 one hour prior to the service. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 23, 2010, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Reverend Curtis Thomas officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Seventh-Day Adventist Church, 2229 Moody Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
