Msgt. Pedro Fernando Consuegra, Usafr

Pedro Fernando Consuegra, 50, entered into rest on Saturday, January 9, 2016.

Pedro was born on September 30, 1965 in Bogota, Colombia to the late Fernando and Cecilia Afanador Consuegra. A 23-year veteran of the United States Air Force Reserve, Pedro served as a recruiter. For 14 years, he served as a police officer in Georgetown, Delaware, and recently moved with his family to the Middle Georgia Area in July of last year. Pedro was a loving father who will always be remembered for his love and devotion to his family and friends.

His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Jennifer Lynn Consuegra of Bonaire; children, Cecilia and Chance Consuegra, both of Bonaire; two sisters and three brothers; grandmother, Jean Elliott of Georgetown, Delaware; parents-in-law, Harry and Deborah Steele of Georgetown, Delaware; sister-in-law, Stephanie Cope (Jonathan) of Georgetown, Delaware; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 15, 2016 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Pedro Consuegra to Nutter D. Marvel Carriage Museum, 510 S. Bedford St., Georgetown, DE 19947, (302) 855-9660.
