Msgt Robert Lee Parker, Jr., Usaf (Ret.)

Robert Parker, 66, entered into rest on Saturday, September 3, 2016.

Robert was born on July 24, 1950 in Atlanta, Georgia. With pride and honor he served his country in the United States Air Force, having served during Vietnam. Robert was currently a Civil Service employee at Robins Air Force Base and worked as an overhaul supervisor for the C-17 division. He loved working on airplanes and being outdoors in nature but mostly loved his devoted family.

His parents, Robert and Mozell Parker, Sr. preceded him in death.

His memory will forever be treasured by his beloved wife, Demetria Parker; children, Talia Parker of Warner Robins, Shawn Parker of Dublin, Maya Lowe and Victor Dennard, both of Warner Robins; sisters, Cynthia and Sandra; devoted nieces, Shernita and Tameka and several other nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Wednesday, September 7, 2016, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 8, 2016 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Milledgeville on Monday, September 12, 2016 at 1:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Robert Lee Parker, Jr. to Humane Society of Houston County, P.O. Box 9588, Warner Robins, Georgia 31095.
