Msgt. Robert "Leroy" Vicknair, Usaf (Ret.)

Robert “LeRoy” Vicknair, 86, joined his dearly beloved wife of 65 years, Colleen Adele Mancuso Vicknair, in heaven on November 30, 2019.

Mr. Vicknair was born on October 15, 1933, to the late Fortune J. and Delia Tamplain Vicknair. In 1951, he joined the United States Air Force, where he honorably served his country for 20 years; he retired in 1971 having attained the rank of Master Sergeant. Mr. Vicknair served during the Korean Conflict and was also awarded two combat medals for his service in the Vietnam War. He then went on to work in Civil Service for 20 years on Robins Air Force Base, where he retired as a first line supervisor in electronics. Mr. Vicknair also pastored, with his wife, for 30 years at Joy Fellowship Church.

Mr. Vicknair was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Colleen Adele Mancuso Vicknair, and his son, Robert Michael Vicknair.

Left to honor and remember his love are his daughters, Lee Alaine Moran (David) and Vicki Lynn Meadows (Steve); son, Shawn David Vicknair; grandchildren, Christopher Crosby (Teresita), Josh Ferrell, Ruth Ferrell Cline, Destinie Vicknair, Basia Vicknair; and great-grandchildren, Tyler Crosby, Haylee Ferrell, Madison Ferrell, Kane Ferrell, and Jaxson Cline.

Visitation will be private. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 8th at Joy Fellowship Church, located at 210 Sylvia Avenue, Warner Robins, Georgia.
