Msgt. Ronald E. Hart, Usaf (Ret.)

March 5, 1950 — July 14, 2022

Ronald Edward Hart, 72, died at his home in Warner Robins, GA with his family by his side on 14 July 2022, after a battle with multiple myeloma.

Raised in Zelienople, PA, to Edward and Betty (Henshaw) Hart, he excelled in school and was a noted swimmer. He volunteered to join the U.S. Air Force and served in the Vietnam War as an avionics specialist. He would continue to serve honorably for 20 years, enjoying postings in both Asia and Europe before retiring in his new hometown of Warner Robins.

When he wasn’t seeking adventures abroad, he sought them through books. As an avid reader of thrillers and military history, he was a regular at the local library and bookstore. It was through reading that he also sought his true passion of cars and airplanes. Until the end, he remained up to date on the latest technology and innovations in transportation.

Particular, precise, and always thorough, he was dedicated to his family and will be deeply missed.

He is survived by his spouse of 49 years, Georgia (Daum) Hart; his daughter, Jennifer (Hart) Collins and her husband, Steven; his daughter, Heather Hart; and his two siblings, Jo Beth (Hart) Kuipers and Randy Hart and their spouses.

A memorial gathering will take place at McCullough Funeral Home on 19 July 2022 at 10:00 a.m. A memorial service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with Reverend Jeff Cleghorn officiating. He will be interred in a private ceremony at Georgia Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
