Thomas "Tom" Jackson Fulks, 73, entered into rest on Thursday, August 13, 2009.
Mr. Fulks was born on December 11, 1935, in Rockwood, Tennessee. With pride and honor, he served his country in the United States Air Force as a Dental Specialist for twenty-two and one-half years. Following his military career, he worked in civil service at Robins Air Force Base for twenty years then retired. He also owned and operated his own Dental Lab Service serving the needs of a number of area dentists. He was a member of Cardiff Baptist Church in Rockwood, Tennessee and was an avid Tennessee football fan. His parents, Josh Fulks and Clara Clark Fulks, seven sisters, and eight brothers, all preceded him in death.
His memory will forever be treasured by his loving wife, Bonnie Ruth Griffis Fulks; daughters, Leisa Webber (Sonny), Maryville, Tennessee, and Melinda Meredith (Derek), Warner Robins; grandchildren, Shay, Kennedy and Jordan; and sisters Betty Jenkins and Peggy Price, both of Rockwood, Tennessee.
Visitation will be Sunday, August 16, 2009, from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 16, 2009, in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery with full military honors.
