Msgt. William H. "Bill" Jackson, Usaf (Ret.)

Bill Jackson, 71, passed away on Friday, January 9, 2015.

Bill was born on April 14, 1943 in Indianapolis, Indiana, to the late Harold and Bertha Jackson. After graduating from high school, Bill proudly served his country in the United States Air Force where he served two tours to Vietnam. He continued his service at Robins Air Force Base where he was a Boom Operator on the KC 135. Upon retiring after 27 years from the Air Force, Bill went to work at Hamby Chevrolet in Perry. He enjoyed spending all his free time with his family, especially watching his grandsons playing ball.

His memory will forever be treasured by his daughters, Wendy Richardson (Jamie) of Warner Robins, and Kristina Booker (Stuart) of Niceville, Florida; grandsons, Hunter Jackson, Carson Richardson, and Will Booker; sisters, Doris Jackson (David) of Ocala, Florida, and Sharron Douglas of Kissimmee, Florida; several nephews; and his beloved pet "Baxter".

The family would like offer their sincere gratitude to the staff of Heart of Georgia Hospice for their unending support, compassion, and care during their difficult time.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 11, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 12, 2015 in the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home with full military honors.
