Mychalina "Shirley" Leiser

Shirley Leiser, 95, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 19, 2017.

Shirley was born on March 5, 1921 in Angusville, Manitoba to the late Joseph and Anna Drosdoski. Establishing a stable home life for her family was her priority in the early years of her marriage to her late husband, Conrad Walter Leiser, Jr. After her own children were grown, she invested her life in others as the manager of the Robins Air Force Base Childcare Center. She later served as a Family Service Representative for the base. Community involvement was important to Shirley, and she displayed that by volunteering at the Robins Air Force Base Hospital Pharmacy for eighteen years and at the Museum of Aviation for more than eighteen years. She enjoyed regular meetings as a member of the Warner Robins Senior Citizens Club, the Newcomers Club, the Officers' Wives Club, and the Military Surviving Spouses.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughters, Karen Golub (Bob) of Johns Creek and Connie Logan (Bill) of Warner Robins; grandchildren, Jennifer and Shannon Logan of Warner Robins, Glenn Golub of Cumming, Shay Depies (Nate) of Naperville, Illinois, and Steve Hajovsky (Cindi) of Floresville, Texas; great-grandchildren, Tyler and Molly Depies of Naperville, Illinois, and Hayden and Conner Hajovsky of Floresville, Texas; sister, Nettie Brody; and several nieces and nephews.

A Rosary will be said Sunday, January 22, 2017, at 6:00 p.m. with a visitation following until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, January 23, 2017 in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Following the service, Shirley will be laid to rest in a private ceremony.
