Myrtice "Cricket" Whittington Shremshock, 82, entered into eternal life Saturday, September 24, 2011.
Mrs. Shremshock was born on October 14, 1928 in Dodge County, and raised in Telfair County. A devoted homemaker, she was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her son, Stan Shremshock; parents, J. Stanley Whittington and Bessie Reaves Whittington; sisters, Alene Thompson and Eldis Dowdy; and brother, Raymond Whittington.
She will forever live in the hearts of her loving husband, Richard Joseph Shremshock; sons, Rick Shremshock, Houston, Texas, and Ron Shremshock (Gina), Bonaire; twin sister, Myrtle Butler, Bonaire; sisters, Bessie Whittington, Dublin, and Shirley Ussery, Milan; brother, James Whittington, Dublin; four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 27, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 28, 2011 at McCullough Funeral Home Chapel, Monsignor Fred Nijem and Deacon Jim Hunt officiating. Committal Service will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations to Sacred Heart Catholic Church – Home Bound Ministry, 250 S. Davis Drive, Warner Robins GA 31088.
