Myrtice Louise Powell

Myrtice Louise Powell, 69, passed away on Thursday, October 21, 2004 at the Houston Medical Center. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2004 at the Dixon United Methodist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, October 22, 2004 from 7 until 9 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Epilepsy Foundation of Georgia, 2625 Cumberland Parkway SE, Suite 400, Atlanta, GA 30339-3911.

Ms. Powell was born in Crawford County, GA. She was of the Assembly of God faith and volunteered for the Epilepsy Foundation of Georgia for many years. Her mother, Mary Lula McKinney, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her sons, William Whittington, Warner Robins and Lynn Whittington, Hawkinsville, GA; sister, Eloise Elliot, Macon; brothers, Gene McKinney, Haynesville and Bob McKinney, Monroe; and three grandchildren, Jason Whittington, Jennifer Smith and Christopher Bramblett.
