Myrtle Belle Stewart, 90, entered into rest on Saturday, October 13, 2012.
Mrs. Stewart was born on July 21, 1922 in Ramseur, North Carolina. She was a faithful member of Second Baptist Church where she proudly taught Sunday School for most of her life. She retired from Belk where she was a talented seamstress for many years. Her beloved husband of thirty-eight years, Samuel Herman Stewart; parents, Walter Monroe and Vella York Coward; two sisters and one brother, all preceded her in death.
Her memory will forever be treasured by her children, Cynthia Bates (Gaylon), Alexandria, Louisiana; Sharon Kile (Sammy), Bonaire; Sam Stewart (Wanda), Lilburn; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, three brothers and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 16, 2012, from 2:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home with funeral services immediately following at 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Magnolia Park Mausoleum.
