Nancy Harper Clark

Nancy Clark, 81, entered the gates of heaven on Thursday, January 14, 2021.

Nancy was born on November 3, 1939 in Elko, Georgia to the late Elve and Ruth Harper. She was a member of Perry United Methodist Church, where she enjoyed singing in the choir. Nancy dedicated many years to Robins Air Force Base and retired as an International Logistics Specialist at Wright Patterson Air Force Base. Nancy had many hobbies and passions in life, the greatest passion being her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking for her friends and family and would often have Supper Club with her friends. She was a wiz on the computer and IPad and enjoyed crocheting, cross-stitching, crossword puzzles, antiquing and learning her family history. During the summers, Nancy would enjoy boating while spending time at their lake house. She enjoyed traveling with her husband, John “Bill” Clark” of thirty years, with whom she was inseparable. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2011.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her children Randy Shuttlesworth (Julie) of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL, Cheryl Sorrow (Tommy) of Bonaire, GA and Rusty Shuttlesworth (Lori) of Madison, GA; grandchildren; Russell Shuttlesworth (Holly) of Dahlonega, GA, Andrew Shuttlesworth (Deanne) of Dahlonega, GA, Taylor Sorrow of Bonaire, GA, Britt Shuttlesworth of Charlotte, NC, Baylee Shuttlesworth of Ponte Vedra Beach, FL and Cyara Sorrow of Bonaire, GA and siblings; Sylvia Lopez (Jerry) of Naples, FL, Pat Marshall, FL, Annelle Stevens of Warner Robins, GA, Walker Harper of Morganton, GA and Steve Harper of Warner Robins, GA.

A graveside service celebrating Nancy’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Magnolia Park Cemetery. For friends and family unable to attend, the service will be streamed live via the McCullough Funeral Home Facebook page at www.facebook.com/mcculloughfuneralhome/live/.

In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully suggests memorial donations be given in memory of Nancy Clark to the Alzheimer’s Association at 886 Mulberry Street, Macon, Ga 31201.
