Nancy N. Creech

Nancy Creech, 83, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, September 17, 2015.

Born in Marion, Indiana, Mrs. Creech was the only daughter of the late Beige and Arizona Sheppard Stewart. A wonderful homemaker who dearly loved her family, she fully devoted herself to the raising of her children and the making of a home. Nancy never met a stranger and loved everyone. She had a keen sense of always trying to care for others and provided inspiration to all who knew her. In addition to Nancy's parents, her brother, Walter Stewart, also preceded her in death.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her loving husband, Fred Creech of Byron; daughter, Charlotte Swanson Bryant (Harold) of Ararat, North Carolina; stepchildren, Pamela Browning (Paul), Cynthia Creech, and Steven R. Creech (Jada); grandchildren, Deanne Corbin (Shawn), Rebecca Jones (Andy), Micah Swanson, Lindsey Dye (Jason) and Matthew, Mary, and Makayla Creech; great-grandchildren, Taylor and Kalen Thomas, Jeremy Swanson, and Dakota and Adam Jones; great-great-grandchild, "Little Samuel"; brother, Dan Stewart (Linda) of Charleston, South Carolina; sister-in-law, Glenda Stewart of Chattanooga, Tennessee; and many adoring nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 20, 2015 in the chapel of Lane Funeral Home South Crest Chapel, 833 Chickamauga Avenue, Rossville, GA 30741. The family will greet friends there from 12:00 noon until service time. Mrs. Creech will be laid to rest in Lakewood Memory Gardens South in Rossville following the service.
