Nancy Faye Shiver

Nancy Dantzler Shiver, 85, entered into rest on Sunday, March 16, 2025.

Nancy was born on October 6, 1939, in Phenix City, Alabama, to the late Fritz Dantzler and Juanita Daniels Dantzler. As a child, she moved to Warner Robins, where she built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. Here, she was a proud graduate of Warner Robins High School.

Nancy found happiness in traveling with her sister and making annual trips to Panama City Beach with Jerry, Lisa, Olivia, and Calvin. An avid sports fan, she rarely missed a chance to cheer on the Atlanta Braves or the Georgia Bulldogs. She also had a passion for country music, attending concerts whenever she could, and she never missed an episode of her favorite soap operas. Whether dining out with friends and family or simply enjoying good company, Nancy embraced life with warmth and enthusiasm.

In addition to her parents, Nancy was preceded in death by her previous husbands, William K. Oliver and Robert F. Shiver, daughter, Sheree Oliver, and siblings, Regina Carpenter and Tillie Johnson.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Lisa Monroe (Jerry) of Bonaire; grandchildren, Olivia Sharber (Dustin) of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Calvin Monroe (Marketa) of Byron; great-grandchildren, Savannah and Summer; niece, Erin Scarborough (Danny); and special caregiver, Brittney Windle, along with many other loving family members and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, March 19, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. A funeral service will immediately follow at 11:00 a.m. the chapel of McCullough Funeral Home. Afterward, Nancy will be laid to rest in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
