Nannie H. Christmas

Nannie H. Christmas, 92, a resident of Warner Robins for sixty-five years, passed away from natural causes at Peachtree Christian Hospice on Saturday, March 10, 2012.

Born in Hawkinsville on January 23, 1920, to the late Jerry and Annie Mae Harrell, Mrs. Christmas was mother to three, grandmother to ten and great-grandmother to fifteen. She was a long-time member of Christian Hope Church. Mrs. Christmas worked as a civil servant at Robins Air Force Base and retired after a lengthy career. She enjoyed reading the Bible, spending time with her family and traveling with friends and family. Her favorite pastimes included cooking for loved ones, planting flowers, and enjoying nature. A devoted mother and generous neighbor, Mrs. Christmas will always be remembered for her gentle spirit, kindness and unconditional love.

Her memory will forever be treasured by her daughter, Juan Saye Harris, Dacula, Georgia; sons, John Calvin Christmas, Warner Robins, and Jimmy David Williams, Cleveland, Mississippi.

Visitation will be Monday, March 12, 2012, from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at McCullough Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, March 13, 2012, at Christian Hope Church, Reverend Mark Watkins officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Park Cemetery.
